The large number of applications we have received for the Gabriel Garcia Marquez Fellowship in cultural journalism -465 entries from 70 countries- has been great news for FNPI, as has been the call with the highest number of entries in the history of its activities. The massive response to this call has exceeded all our expectations, which forces us to redouble our efforts to ensure the rigor of our selection process. Therefore, the announcement of the 20 journalists selected for the fellowship will be on October 25th, not in October 18th, as we had initially planned. The selected list will be published on www.fnpi.org, on Twitter: @ FNPI_org and on our Facebook page. The selected journalists will receive an email with the good news and directions to move forward in the process of acceptance of the fellowship. We appreciate your understanding.
