"It's a very intense process. There's lots of writing, lots of reviewing and editing; but you're also working with four of the best people in the business", says Subraj Singh (Guyana) about his experience in the Gabo fellowship.
The Gabo Fellowship took place from the 28th of february to the 6th of march in Cartagena, Colombia, during the 58th International Film Festival of Cartagena de Indias.
The 15 selected journalists, who came from 11 different countries, were gathered for 7 days to discuss about a topic that was one of Gabriel García Márquez's biggest passions and that also got him involved in many special projects during his life: the cinematic arts.
This event was organized by the FNPI- Gabriel García Márquez New Iberoamerican Journalism Foundation, the Ministry of Culture of Colombia and Cartago Foundation.
