She writes about politics and culture for Semana and Arcadia magazine and also for two Colombian film magazines, Kinetoscopio and The End Magazine.

Sara Malagón Llano is 26 years old. She was born and lives in Bogotá. She studied Philosophy and Literature, and works as a journalist. In 2013 she began working in the cultural section of the newspaper El Espectador. In 2015 she started to work for Semana magazine, and since then she writes about politics and culture for Semana and Arcadia magazine, which belong to the same publishing house. She also writes for two Colombian film magazines, Kinetoscopio and The End Magazine. In 2016 she participated in a book of chronicles of Batuta Foundation that was published last November. She participated in the last edition of the FNPI’s Gabriel García Márquez Scholarship for cultural journalism. On July 1, 2017 she will begin working as the editor of Arcadia magazine.
