Colombian writer and journalist, won the 2nd National Tale Contest RCN-MEN, and the 1st  National Short Story Contest of the Institute of Culture and Tourism of Cundinamarca, Colombia. In 2012, 2013 and 2014, he won mention as a finalist of the 2nd, 3rd and 4th National Contest of Tale of Fundación La Cueva. El sexo de las salamandras, his first novel, won the Encouragement to the Creation of the Government of Santander, category literature, 2015.

His journalistic works have appeared in DONJUAN Magazine of the Publishing House El Tiempo, DOMINGO magazine of the Universal of Mexico, the VICE Magazine, Las2orillas and the portal of journalism 070. In 2015 he was a finalist of the 5th Latin American Chronicle New Pens Award. In 2017 he was selected by the FNPI as one of the winners of the Gabriel García Márquez Cultural Journalism Scholarship.

He is the author of four books, two of short stories, Una Ciudad llamada Bucaranada  and Cuervos en la Ventana, Editorial UIS; a novel, El sexo de las salamandras, Ambidiestro Editorial Workshop; and a youthful biography, My name is José Antonio Galán, Editorial Norma.
